Clear terms.Honest reporting.Work you own.
This is how we work with engineering and industrial companies: how an engagement starts, what is agreed before any work begins, how we report and what happens if you ever move on. As an industrial marketing agency, we want you to know all of it before you sign.
How we work, step by step
This is how we work in practice: seven steps take you from a first conversation to monthly results and the next six-month strategy. Choose a step to see what we do, what we need from you and what you have at the end of it.
Discovery call
A conversation about your business, your buyers and what you need marketing to deliver.
What we do
We ask where your enquiries come from today, who signs off on your work and which projects you want more of. If there is a fit, we send a proposal and the agreement.
What you do
You tell us about your goals and your current marketing. When the proposal is right, you sign the agreement and pay the first invoice.
You end this step withA signed agreement and a confirmed start.
Digital audit
A full review of your digital presence to find the gaps and the opportunities.
What we do
We audit your website, search visibility, AI Visibility, content and competitors, and identify where buyers are being lost and where the quickest gains are.
What you do
You share access to your website, hosting, domain, Google Analytics and Search Console.
You end this step withA clear picture of the gaps and opportunities.
Six-month strategy
Your digital strategy, information architecture strategy and content strategy for the next six months.
What we do
We build all three from the audit. They set out what we will build, how your website will be structured and what content we will create. Everything we do afterwards works from them.
What you do
While we work on the strategy, you complete our onboarding questionnaire and send your logos, existing content, images and case studies.
You end this step withA six-month strategy that your business owns.
Strategy session
A working session where we agree together what matters most.
What we do
We take you through the strategy and the priorities it recommends. The session has an agenda and ends with confirmed actions.
What you do
You tell us what matters most to your business, so the order of work reflects your priorities.
You end this step withAgreed priorities and the order we deliver them in.
Website build
Your website built according to the strategy, structured for buyers, search engines and AI tools.
What we do
We build the website to the information architecture we agreed, and send each stage for your approval.
What you do
You review and approve each stage within a reasonable time.
You end this step withA website built on the strategy you approved.
Content and monthly reporting
Content rolls out alongside the build, and every month is reported.
What we do
We create and publish the content in the content strategy, and report every month against the KPIs we agreed.
What you do
You check the accuracy of technical content before it is published. Your engineers know your products best.
You end this step withA monthly report on every KPI we agreed.
Review and the next six months
In month five, we reassess and plan the next six months.
What we do
We review what the strategy delivered against the KPIs, reassess your market and priorities, and create the strategy for the next six months.
What you do
You tell us what has changed in your business and approve the new strategy.
You end this step withA new six-month strategy before the first one ends.

What we agree before any work starts
Your proposal and Scope of Work answer the questions that usually cause friction later, which is why how we work is written down before anything starts. Most engagements combine a set-up project, which builds the strategy, digital foundations, content and authority systems, with a six-month retainer that keeps them maintained and improving.
Included
Every deliverable we will produce, listed in the Scope of Work.
Revisions
How many rounds of revisions each deliverable includes.
Not included
What sits outside the scope, written down so nobody assumes otherwise.
Measured by
The KPIs we will report against and how each one is measured.
Something new comes up
We quote it and you approve it before any work begins. If a change affects the timeline or the fee, you know before you decide.

Our agreement in plain English
Every client of our industrial marketing agency signs the same Master Services Agreement. Here is what each clause means, and the exact wording it uses. Switch between the two to compare.
Work starts once the first payment is in. After that, services are billed monthly in advance and each invoice is payable within 30 days. If a payment is more than 7 days past its due date, services may be paused until it is settled.
Work shall commence upon receipt of the initial payment. Ongoing services will be billed monthly in advance and are payable within 30 days of the invoice date. Should payment not be received within 7 days of the due date, the Agency reserves the right to suspend all services until full payment has been received.
Everything we deliver is written in the Scope of Work. Anything extra is priced and approved by you before we start it.
All services and deliverables are defined in the Scope of Work (SOW). Any additional services requested outside the agreed scope may be subject to additional fees and require prior approval.
We need access, materials and information from you, approvals within a reasonable time, and a check that technical content is accurate before it goes live. If these are delayed, the timeline moves with them.
The Client agrees to provide all necessary access, materials, and information required for the delivery of services; review and approve deliverables within a reasonable timeframe; and ensure the accuracy of all technical or industry-specific content prior to publication. Delays in fulfilling these responsibilities may result in adjusted timelines.
Once everything is paid, the final deliverables we created for you belong to you. Our own methods, frameworks and templates stay ours, and you are licensed to keep using them in your business.
Upon full payment of all fees, ownership of all final deliverables created specifically for the Client shall transfer to the Client. The Agency retains ownership of its proprietary methodologies, frameworks, processes, and templates. The Client is granted a non-exclusive licence to use these within its business operations.
What you share with us stays with us, and what we share with you stays with you. Neither side passes it on without written consent.
Both parties agree to treat all confidential information shared during the course of this engagement as strictly confidential and shall not disclose such information to any third party without prior written consent.
While we work together, we will not knowingly provide the same kind of service to your direct competitors in your agreed niche or market.
The Agency agrees that, during the term of this Agreement, it will not knowingly provide substantially similar services to direct competitors of the Client within the same agreed niche or market.
Rankings, traffic and leads depend on things outside anyoneโs control, so we do not promise specific results. We commit to good practice, decisions based on your data and honest reporting against the KPIs we agreed.
The Client acknowledges that marketing outcomes, including but not limited to search rankings, traffic, and lead generation, are influenced by factors beyond the Agencyโs control. Accordingly, the Agency does not guarantee specific results but commits to applying industry best practices and data-driven strategies.
Retainers start with a six-month term, because SEO, content and authority take time to build. After the third month, either of us can end the agreement with 30 daysโ written notice. After the first six months, the agreement continues month to month with the same 30 daysโ notice.
Retainer services are provided for an initial term of six (6) months. After the third month, either party may terminate this Agreement by providing 30 daysโ written notice. After the initial term, this Agreement continues on a month-to-month basis and either party may terminate it by providing 30 daysโ written notice.
The agreement is governed by South African law, with Gimme Waymore (Pty) Ltd t/a Pinnacle Process Marketing as the contracting company.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Your own copy of the agreement comes with your proposal. For how this website itself may be used, see our Terms of Use.

What you can expect from us every month
You agree how you prefer to communicate during onboarding. After that, this is how we work with you day to day, and the standards we hold ourselves to. Meetings have an agenda and end with confirmed actions, and if anything is going to be late, you hear about it early.
Emails acknowledged
Every email is acknowledged within 24 hours, even when the full answer takes longer.
Monthly reporting
Every month, a report against the KPIs we agreed at the start.
Approvals in writing
Every approval is recorded, so there is never a question about what was signed off.
Retainer term
SEO, content and authority take time to build. After month three, either side can end it with 30 daysโ notice, and after month six it runs month to month.
A monthly report you can forward to your directors
Each report from our industrial marketing agency covers what was delivered, how each KPI moved and the priorities for the month ahead. The KPIs are the ones agreed in your proposal, measured the way we said they would be. Where your scope includes one, you also get a live Looker Studio dashboard to check progress between reports.
What you own, and what happens if you move on
Once all fees are paid, the final deliverables we create for you belong to your business. That includes your six-month strategy, the website, the content and the reports. We keep our own methods, frameworks and templates, and you are licensed to keep using them in your business.
After the third month of your retainer, either side can end the agreement with 30 daysโ written notice, and after six months it runs month to month. If you do, the handover on the right is what you receive, so the next team, in-house or another industrial marketing agency, can pick up where we left off.

Questions about how we work
A question about how we work that is not covered here? Ask it on a discovery call, or see our industrial marketing services and case studies.
Book a discovery call. If there is a fit, we send a proposal and the agreement. Once you sign and pay the first invoice, we start with a digital audit, then build your six-month strategy while you complete the onboarding questionnaire.
The first term is six months, because SEO, content and authority take time to show results. After the third month, either side can end the agreement with 30 daysโ written notice. After six months, it continues month to month with the same 30 daysโ notice, and in month five we plan the next six months with you.
Work starts once the initial payment is received. Ongoing services are billed monthly in advance, and each invoice is payable within 30 days of the invoice date.
You do. Once all fees are paid, ownership of the final deliverables created for you transfers to your business. We keep our own methods, frameworks and templates, and you are licensed to use them in your business.
No. Search rankings, traffic and leads are affected by factors no agency controls, so any guarantee would be empty. We agree measurable KPIs with you, report on them every month and tell you plainly what is and is not working.
Not while we work with you. During the agreement we will not knowingly provide substantially similar services to your direct competitors in your agreed niche or market.
Access to your website and analytics, your brand assets and existing content, approvals within a reasonable time and a check that technical content is accurate before it is published. Your engineers know your products best, and that check protects your reputation.

A discovery call is the first step with any industrial marketing agency worth hiring. We talk about your buyers, your goals and where your marketing loses them, and you decide whether a proposal makes sense.
