Industrial Marketing Assessments
See where your marketing is losing buyers. Some checks take a minute, the full audit about fifteen.
These industrial marketing assessments help engineering and industrial companies check their own website, search and AI visibility, content, LinkedIn and lead generation. There are quick checks that score as you answer, a 30-point audit and an AI visibility assessment you can download, and a checklist for AI search. All of them are free.
Start with the Industrial Lead Generation Audit
If you only take one of these industrial marketing assessments, make it this one. The audit has 30 statements across the six areas of the buying journey: foundation, attract, capture, nurture, convert, and tracking and sales handoff. You score each area out of ten, which gives you a total out of 60 and shows where buyers are most likely to drop out before they enquire.
It comes as a PDF, so you can work through it with your team, keep it on file and score yourself again in a few months to see what has changed. The landing page explains each of the six areas before you download.

How to choose industrial marketing assessments
Every quick check on this page looks at one part of how industrial buyers find, judge and contact a supplier. We have grouped them the same way we build a growth system for our clients: foundation, discoverability, authority and conversion. Pick the area that feels weakest, or work down the list in order, because each area depends on the one before it.
These industrial marketing assessments are written for owners, managing directors and commercial leaders in engineering, manufacturing, mining, automation, process and industrial services businesses. You donโt need a marketing background to answer them, and each self-assessment uses the words your buyers would use.

Quick checks you can finish in a minute
The quick checks are the shortest of our industrial marketing assessments. Each one has five or six yes-or-no statements. Your score updates as you answer, and every “No” shows what to fix first. The checks run on the page, so nobody sees your answers but you.

What to do with your assessment score
A score is only useful if it changes what you do next. Like any self-assessment, industrial marketing assessments work best when you treat them as a starting point for one decision, then measure again.
- Answer for today
Score how things are now, not how you plan them to be. If you aren’t sure, count it as a no.
- Fix the first gap
Each check shows what to fix first. Do that before you start on anything else, because the gaps usually depend on each other.
- Check the next area
Once the first area is in place, take the check for the next one. Foundation comes before discoverability, and authority before conversion.
- Score again in three months
Take the same check again and compare. A rising score tells you the work is reaching buyers.

Get an outside view of your marketing
A self-assessment shows you where to look. If you would like someone outside your business to look for you, request a free website or marketing audit. We review five areas and give you a clear order of what to fix. You can also book a strategy session and talk through a result you already have.

04What should I do with my result?
Fix the first gap it shows before you move on to the next one, then take the same check again in three months. If you would like help reading your result, book a strategy session and we will talk it through.
