Industrial Marketing Case Studies

Real projects. Practical outcomes. Strategic insights.

Engineering and industrial firms face very different growth problems: weak enquiry flow, limited online visibility, too much reliance on referrals. These industrial marketing case studies show how we make technical businesses easier to find, understand and trust.

01 / More than marketing

Industrial marketing solves commercial problems

Not prettier websites. Not more content for the sake of it. Every case study starts with a business problem and shows what we did about it.

02 / The case files

Four case studies. Four different problems.

Our industrial marketing case studies start with our own business, because we ran the system on ourselves first. Scroll through each case, then open the full story.

Case 00 ยท Our own storyFounded March 2023Website live and first clients signed ยท April 2026

PinnacleProcess Marketing ยท Industrial B2B agency ยท South Africa

2 clientsSigned the month our website went live
Challenge
A specialist agency has to prove its method on itself first: a sharp position for technical buyers, a website that sells, and a business that runs on documented systems rather than memory.
Approach
We built Pinnacle exactly the way we build for clients: positioning for industrial buyers, a website designed as a buying system, and a complete SOP-driven operating system from first call to offboarding.
Result
Our first website page went live in April 2026 and our first two clients signed that same month. Every client is now delivered through one documented system.

Proplant PCEMiddelburg, South Africa

3 โ†’ 14Website pages
Challenge
More than 13 years of engineering experience, a static three-page website, no product pages and growth that relied almost entirely on referrals.
Approach
A website rebuilt as a knowledge platform for engineers, with five solution areas, individual product pages and industry pages, backed by Google Business Profile, Search Console and LinkedIn.
Result
Inbound leads now arrive through the website and Google Business Profile, and a tracking system shows every one. LinkedIn publishes twice a week from the company and the CEO.

Case 02 / 03Automation ยท PLC & SCADA ยท RoboticsStrategy, measurement and authority ยท In progress

Confidential clientIndustrial automation & systems integration company

โ‰ˆ1,400Newsletter subscribers in two editions
Challenge
Deep PLC, SCADA and robotics capability, described the same way as every competitor, and a contact form that was quietly losing enquiries.
Approach
A strategy blueprint with outcome-led positioning, a repaired enquiry path, GA4, Search Console and Looker reporting from day one, an AI-readiness framework and approved technical content on LinkedIn.
Result
Every enquiry now reaches the team, performance is reported monthly, and the LinkedIn newsletter reached about 1,400 subscribers in its first two editions.

Case 03 / 03Industrial process automationStrategic marketing blueprint

AllpronixSouth Africa

โ€œTrust before engagementโ€The principle behind the blueprint
Challenge
Proven process automation capability, but a website, content and visibility that werenโ€™t building the trust high-risk industrial buyers need before they call.
Approach
A full strategic marketing blueprint: repositioning around risk and reliability, the website rebuilt as a conversion system, technical content, and LinkedIn aligned to the buying committee.
Result
One connected marketing system: LinkedIn builds trust, content educates the buying committee, and the website turns that interest into qualified enquiries.

04 / Patterns

The problems we keep solving

Different companies, the same barriers, including our own. Here is where each one showed up across the four case studies.

  1. 01Strong expertise, limited online visibility
  2. 02Websites that describe products, not business value
  3. 03Marketing built on features, not buyer confidence
  4. 04Technical knowledge that search and AI canโ€™t surface
  5. 05Long sales cycles with no educational content
  6. 06Limited authority despite years of experience
  7. 07Growth that depends on memory, not documented systems
Grid of six recurring barriers found across the case studies, including hidden expertise, product-led websites and growth that depends on memory.
05 / Framework

What youโ€™ll find in every case study

Each of our case studies follows the same five parts, so you can compare the thinking, not just the results.

  1. 01Business context

Who the client is, what they do and the market they compete in.

  2. 02The challenge

The commercial problem, and the visibility and trust barriers behind it.

  3. 03Strategic approach

The positioning and priorities we chose, and why.

  4. 04Implementation

Website, content, SEO, AI visibility and authority work, as delivered.

  5. 05Outcomes & lessons

What changed, what we measured and what other industrial firms can apply.

Flow of the five parts every case study follows: business context, the challenge, strategic approach, implementation, then outcomes and lessons.
06 / Why case studies matter

For engineering and industrial businesses, trust is earned through evidence.

Decision-makers want to see how similar problems were handled, and what followed.
