A specialist agency for technical businesses
Pinnacle Process Marketing is a South African industrial B2B marketing agency, founded in March 2023 by Jennifer Du Plessis.
It works with engineering, automation, instrumentation, mining, manufacturing and process businesses, where sales cycles are long and buyers research carefully before they make contact.
Its founding idea is simple: technical expertise already exists inside industrial businesses, but it is poorly exposed to the buyers who need it. Pinnacleโs job is to make that expertise easier to find, understand, evaluate and trust.
Every client asks the same question
โCan you do it for yourselves?โ Before Pinnacle could sell the method, it had to answer that honestly.
- 01Proving a nicheAn agency that claims to understand technical buyers has to show it, in their language, before they will trust it with their own brand.
- 02No website to point toA marketing agency without a website that demonstrates its method has nothing to show a sceptical engineer.
- 03Delivery that lived in one headIn a founder-led business, process held in memory canโt be repeated reliably, checked or handed to a subcontractor.
- 04Consistency across every clientOnboarding, reporting, quality and offboarding had to work the same way every time, whatever the client.
- 05Buyers moving to AI searchPinnacle needed to be visible not only on Google, but when buyers ask AI assistants for specialist industrial marketers.

If we canโt make our own expertise visible, we have no business doing it for yours.
So Pinnacle Process Marketing became its own first project: the same positioning work, the same website thinking and the same documented delivery we now use for every client.
Five steps to a business that runs on a system
Pinnacle followed its own method in order, starting with strategy and ending with a delivery system that doesnโt depend on memory. Select a step to see what it involved.
Define a specialist position at the meeting point of technical understanding, industrial buyer behaviour, search, AI visibility, content and LinkedIn authority.
Launch a website structured around how industrial buyers research: five service pillars, detailed service pages, industry pages, insights and case studies.
Write a library of SOPs: client onboarding, project management, client communication, reporting, quality assurance, offboarding, a developer SOP, website build workflow, SEO and GEO standards, and a reusable section library.
Create a master proposal, a 61-page strategy blueprint, discovery and agreement forms, report templates, and an AI skills library that supports strategy, content, website, SEO, GEO, LinkedIn and reporting work.
Deliver every client through the same six-month engagement: a strategy blueprint first, then website, authority, search and conversion in sequence.

One documented system, every client
Every client moves through the same documented stages. That is what lets a specialist agency stay consistent, and what made it ready the day its first clients signed.

Ready on day one
Pinnacleโs first website page went live in April 2026. The first two clients signed that same month.
Because the operating system was already built, both clients were onboarded, planned and delivered through documented processes from the start, the same way every future client will be.
- 01A specialist position for industrial and engineering businesses
- 02A website with five service pillars, detailed service pages and industry pages
- 03A library of 10 SOPs, from onboarding to offboarding
- 04Proposal, blueprint, discovery, agreement and report templates
- 05An AI skills library that supports every stage of delivery
- 06Two clients signed and delivered through the system

What other industrial firms can take from this
These are the lessons we apply to every client, because we learned them on ourselves first.
- 01Be your own first case study
Use your own business to prove the method. It sharpens the offer and gives buyers something real to judge.
- 02Write it down
A process that lives in someoneโs head canโt be checked, repeated or delegated. Documented SOPs can.
- 03Build the system before you need it
When the system is ready first, growth arrives into a business that can handle it.

Questions about the Pinnacle Process Marketing case study
01When was Pinnacle Process Marketing founded?
Pinnacle was founded in March 2023. Its first website page went live in April 2026, and its first two clients signed that same month.
02Why include your own business as a case study?
Because buyers should be able to see that we use our own method. Pinnacle was built with the same positioning, website and delivery system we use for clients.
03What is in Pinnacleโs SOP system?
Documented processes for client onboarding, project management, client communication, reporting, quality assurance and offboarding, plus a developer SOP, a website build workflow, SEO and GEO standards and a reusable section library.
04Who does Pinnacle work with?
Engineering, industrial automation, instrumentation, mining, manufacturing, process and industrial services businesses, especially those with long sales cycles and technical buyers.
05How does an engagement start?
With a strategy session and a structured discovery process. From there we build a strategy blueprint before any website, content or LinkedIn work begins.
06What did Pinnacle Process Marketing build before signing its first clients?
A specialist position for industrial and engineering businesses, a website with five service pillars, detailed service pages and industry pages, and a library of 10 SOPs covering onboarding through to offboarding. It also built proposal, blueprint, discovery, agreement and report templates, and an AI skills library that supports every stage of delivery.
07How long is an engagement?
Every client is delivered through the same six-month engagement. It starts with a strategy blueprint that sets positioning, buyers, priorities and KPIs, then moves through website, authority, search and conversion work in sequence, with monthly reporting throughout.
08Why should this case study matter to an industrial buyer?
It shows the method working on a real business before it is applied to yours. The positioning, website thinking and documented delivery described in this case study are what every client receives, so you can judge the approach before you commit to it.
09What role does AI play in how Pinnacle works?
An AI skills library supports strategy, content, website, SEO, GEO, LinkedIn and reporting work, inside the documented SOPs and quality checks. Pinnacle also plans for buyers who use AI assistants, so client content is structured to be found and quoted in AI search as well as on Google.
